Admission & Eligibility Criteria
ADMISSION POLICY:
- All admissions shall be strictly on merit as per the merit criteria announced by the college and pursuant to the fundamental principle of merit as mandatorily applicable under Article 37(c) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973.
- College shall provide scholarships to deserving students on need basis
ADMISSION PROCESS:
- The admission process shall be conducted through an online portal and in a transparent manner.
- College shall publicly open admissions by __________of each year allowing students to submit their applications for admission.
- Rupees one thousand shall be charged as application fee from a student when applying for admission.
Eligibility Criteria
Any person seeking admission in any undergraduate medical or dental college in Pakistan shall be eligible having fulfilled the following mandatory criteria;
- Have passed the MDCAT examination conducted by the National Medical Authority by securing at-least 65% marks;
- Obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate qualification (“HSSC”) or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan and having obtained more than sixty five percent marks therein,
- Passed the subjects of biology and chemistry and either physics or mathematics in the examination of the Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan:
MERIT CALCULATION:
An accumulated comprehensive list shall be formulated by following under mentioned criteria:-
- 50% Marks of F.Sc. or equivalent exam.
- 50% MDCAT examination
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Students are required to upload scanned copy of the following documents while applying for admission (online):
- Matric or equivalent certificate
- HSSC or equivalent certificate or IBCC equivalence certificate in case of the equivalent certificate
- NMDCAT examination result
- CNIC / B-Form
- Paid Fee Voucher
VERIFICATION OF STUDENTS’ CREDENTIALS:
- The affiliating university shall be verifying all the credentials of a student including the student’s matriculation, HSSC or equivalent 12’h grade qualification.
- Any provisional admission shall be cancelled where the credential of a student are not verified.
